It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Judith Rayment, aged 90, on December 5, 2024. Judith, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, left this world peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 29, 1934, in Jersey City, NJ, Judith was raised in Kearney, NJ. She married the love of her life, Ted Rayment, in 1959, and together they shared a lifetime of love and cherished memories until his passing in 2008.

Judith was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her wisdom, kindness, and an ever-present smile. She found great joy in the company of her family and friends, as well as in caring for her many pets—dogs, cats, birds, and more. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

Judith worked for the Toms River School System in the payroll department until her retirement.

She is survived by her son, John Rayment and his wife, Kristeen; her daughter-in-law, Cristy Rayment; her partner, Geri Bradley; and her grandchildren: Nicholas Rayment and his fiancée, Kaitlyn Zuverink; Jared Rayment and his wife, Nikki Maxwell; Zachary Rayment and his fiancée, Katie Campbell; Andrew Rayment and his partner, Niki Titterington; Michael Rayment; and Samantha Smith and her husband, Matt, as well as two great-grandchildren, Finn and Remi Smith. She was also survived by her adopted grandchildren: Robert Gunnell (Nicole), Shannon Bergan (Alex), Devan Bergan, and Macenna Bergan (Joel), along with her great-grandson, Braxton.

Judy was predeceased by her parents, Julius and Jeanette Lambertson, her husband, Ted, and two of her sons, Mark Rayment and Doug Rayment.
