Josephine Sudman

Josephine Sudman (nee Fazzaro) of Barnegat, NJ, formerly of Long Beach Island and Jersey City, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at the age of 92.

Josephine was born on September 15, 1931 in Jersey City.  After graduating from Ferris High School she went to work at Armour Meats where she met the love of her life Robert 'Bob' Sudman.  They were wed on April 28, 1956.

Josehine's passion was her family.  Her greatest pleasure was cooking a meal for her family and friends.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren at family gatherings and playing the slots at Atlantic City.

Josephine was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Bob,  and her parents and three siblings.  She is survived by her sister Rose Stello and brother John Fazzaro and his wife Arline.

Josephine was the devoted mother of Bobby (Linda), Joanne (John), Susan (Jimmy), and Jennifer (Brendan).  She was cherished Grandmother to Bobby, Eric, Alyssa, Johnny, Nicky, Natalie, Stephanie, Suzette, Leah, Anthony, Kevin, Caroline, and Eamon.

Josephine's unwavering faith and giving nature will live with all of us forever.
