Josephine M. Letizia

Josephine M. Letizia, 73, of Barnegat, NJ, passed on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, NJ.  She was born in New York, NY to her late parents, Salvatore and Rosalie Letizia. She is survived by her beloved sister, Charlene Letizia; her niece Crystal Schaffer; her nephews Vincent Letizia, Shane Letizia, and Jack Letizia, Jr.; and six grand-nephews.

Josie’s passion for computers and technology lead to a storied career in the IT field with tenures at The Coffee Sugar and Cocoa Exchange in the World Trade Center, the Military Ocean Terminal Base in Bayonne, and the U.S. Mint at West Point. To unplug, Josie preferred working with her hands—baking, knitting and building dollhouses for family, friends and for sale.  She gave the best hugs, always with all her heart. She loved video games, traveling (especially to Disney World), and animals, but most of all she loved her family.
