Josephine Alaimo

Josephine Alaimo, 89, of Manahawkin, NJ passed on Monday, January 12, 2026. Born in Naro, Italy to her late parents, Gaspare and Providenza Cumbo, she was formerly of Germany before moving to Brooklyn, NY and then ultimately becoming a resident of Manahawkin in 2003. 

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Angelo, she is survived by her three loving children, Charlie and wife, Maria Alaimo, Maria Diecidue and Enza Pistone and husband, Vicenzo; many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Geusele and wife, Lina Cumbo.

She is also predeceased by her son, Jack Alaimo; son-in-law, Enzo Diecidue and brother, Calogero Cumbo. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a Blessing at 1PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ.  Entombment to follow in Ocean County Memorial Park, Waretown, NJ.
