Joseph T. Torbik

Joseph T. Torbik, 72, of Barnegat, NJ, passed on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Born in Jersey City, NJ to his late parents, Joseph and Virginia Torbik, he is formerly of Middletown, NJ and Jersey City, and has been a resident of Barnegat for 20 years; enjoying many years of fishing and crabbing.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 34 years, Mei; three loving children, Hua Xiao, and husband, Fan Wang, Joseph T. Torbik, III and Matthew J. Torbik and his cherished granddaughter, Eva Wang. He is predeceased by two sisters, Rosalie Goleboski and JoAnn Collins.

Viewing will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 from 4-7 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial offered Tuesday, 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Interment to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.  (www.BarnegatFH.com)
