Joseph E. Tonetti

Joseph E. Tonetti, 42, of Manahawkin, NJ passed on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Born in Pequannock, NJ, to his late parents Robert and Deborah Tonetti, he diligently worked his way through school, ultimately earning his Master’s Degree.

Joseph was a beacon of hope and understanding for all children, but he held a special place in his heart for the autistic community. He had an innate ability to connect with these individuals, and dedicated his career to enhancing their lives.

Above all, Joseph cherished his family, especially his boys. He loved watching Jackson in mma/Jiu-Jitsu and baseball and he was looking forward to Sebastian starting T-Ball.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemarie; cherished sons, Jackson and Sebastian; two loving sisters, Jennifer Tonetti (Frank) and Melissa Gross (Bill); nephew, Frankee; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chuck and Mary Daalder; brother-in-law, Christopher and wife, Danielle Daalder; step-mother, Debbie Tonetti.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026 from 1 to 4 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
