John C. Culhane

John C. Culhane, 90, of Manahawkin, NJ passed away peacefully on July 11, 2021.

He was born in New York City to his late parents, John Carrol Culhane and Clara (Hall) Culhane. John lived in the Bronx, NY and New City, NY, before retiring to Manahawkin, NJ.

John was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Nora (Dineen) and his sister, Alice Culhane. He is survived by his brother, George, three children, John (Angela), Joellen, Robert (Lisa) and four grandchildren, John, Danny, Philip and Noah.

John was discharged from the Army in 1952 and worked as a refrigerator mechanic in NYC until opening Culhane AC and Refrigeration with his son in 1974 where he worked until his retirement in 1993.

John enjoyed his days going out with his local friends in Manahawkin throughout his retired years.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 12-2 PM with a Blessing at 2:00 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
