Johann Albers Obituary

Johann L. Albers, 90, of Barnegat passed peacefully at home on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Born in Bulkau, Germany to his late parents, Emil and Bertha Albers, he emigrated to the United States in 1960 settling in Jersey City, NJ and eventually Union, NJ. Johann worked as a self employed carpenter and is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Gisela A. Albers; his two loving children, Jerry and wife Dawn Albers, Rita and husband Mike Zweir; five cherished grandchildren, Shawn, Christopher, Alex, Ryan and Hayley; two cherished great grandchildren, Jaxson and Nathan. He was predeceased by his grandson, Justin.

Funeral Services will be private for the immediate family only. Barnegat Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
