Joan M. Smith

Joan M. Smith, 90, of Barnegat, NJ  passed peacefully at home on September 11, 2023. She formerly resided in Bayonne, NJ and is predeceased by her beloved husband of 69 years, Albert L. Smith, Sr.. Surviving are five loving children and their spouses, Karen Smith, Janlori and Walter Komorowski, Lois Smith, Christopher and Liz Smith, Albert and Michelle Smith, Richard Lane; ten cherished grandchildren, Justin, Stacy, Joseph, Aubrey, Danny, Douglas, Christopher, Kevin, William and Hailey; nine cherished great grandchildren, Paige, Aidan, Kamryn, Lucas, Collin, Waltie, Max, Geralt and Kennedy. She was also predeceased by her brother and sister, William Dittus and Lois Tartt.

Viewing Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 6 to 9 PM and Friday 10 to 11 AM with a Blessing to follow at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH@yahoo.com)
