Jeffrey M. Melchiondo

Jeffrey M Melchiondo Sr passed away on Saturday June 13, 2026 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, at the age of 75.

Born on November 29,1950, in Trenton NJ, Jeff was a graduate of Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, PA. Following his high school career Jeff went on to college at Bucks County College and served in the NJ National Guard.

Jeff met his wife of 54 yrs, Virginia (Ginny) Mack while attending high school and married in 1971. Jeff moved to Barnegat, NJ in 1980 and worked in the auto sales industry for many years before opening Jeffreeze Ice Cream in West Creek, NJ and Tobacco Road Cigar Shop in Barnegat. Jeff proudly served the community of Barnegat as a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the township committee and as Mayor.

He was the son of the late Louis F Melchiondo Sr and wife Madeline (Midge) (Mimi) Henry Melchiondo. 

He is predeceased by his brother Louis F Melchiondo Jr. sister Constance Swierczakand, and wife Ginny.

He is survived by his sister, Christine (Melchiondo) Barbati, son Jeff Jr, daughter in law Staci (Grant) Melchiondo, grandsons Deegan and Mason Melchiondo, son John Melchiondo, grandchildren Percy and Natalia.
