Janet L. Patrick, 89, of Manahawkin, NJ passed on Monday, June 29, 2026. Born in Elizabeth, NJ to her late parents, John and Mildred Melleky, she grew up in Linden , spent summers at her family home in Manasquan and raised her family in Point Pleasant. Janet worked for Ocean National Bank for many years followed by Kearny Bank retiring in 2016. She loved the beach, shopping and spending time with her Family and enjoyed attending all of her children and grandchildren’s sporting events. 

Though our hearts are heavy with grief we find comfort in knowing that her love will remain with us always. 

She is survived by her three loving children, Kathleen Capozzi and her husband, James, Edward Patrick and his wife, Cyndi and Thomas Patrick and his wife, Patty; five cherished grandchildren, Jimmy, Nicholas, Christopher, Jack and Anna Grace, two adored great-grandchildren, Emmett and Shirley; devoted sister and brother, Carol Dayer and Robert Melleky as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
