Janet G. Anstatt

Janet G. Anstatt, 70, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Teaneck, NJ to her late parents, Anthony and Virginia Amoroso, she always had a friendly smile on her face. In addition to baking, Janet enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities, from tending her garden, trips to the beach or skiing in the winter. Above all, Janet treasured the moments spent with her family. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Anstatt; loving son, Robbie Anstatt; cherished siblings, Nancy (Terry) Hoffnagle, Mark (Sharon) Amoroso, Jimmy (Gloria) Amoroso, Jeff Amoroso; devoted in-laws, Richard (Lynn) Anstatt, Anna Barbara (Anthony) Raia, Jeanie (Todd Meyer) Sabella, Juliet (David) Forsyth; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Ann Anstatt.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a Blessing and Time for Sharing at 1:30 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ.  Private cremation to follow. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
