Jana L. Knox

It is with both sadness and gratitude that we announce the passing of Jana Knox at the age of 76, on February 20th 2025. She lived a life defined by steadfast love and quiet strength, combining grace and determination in all that she did.
Born on March 1st 1948, Jana grew up in Linden, NJ and carried the values of her upbringing throughout her life. She was a woman of integrity and her love was unmistakably expressed through her unwavering support and dedication to her family and friends.Jana’s life was filled with pursuits that reflected her commitment to hard work and community. From her early days, she developed a reputation for being reliable and capable, traits she maintained throughout her various roles within her career and personal life. Whether pursuing professional endeavors or volunteering in her community, she led with fortitude, always capturing the respect of those around her.

Her legacy continues through her cherished sons, Keith (48) and Kevin (46), who carry forward her values and dedication to family. Jana was also the proud grandmother of Jameson (13), Zoe (11), and Molly (10), who brought tremendous joy to her life. Her presence in their lives will forever be treasured, her stories and wisdom continuing to guide them.

In 2008, Jana and William embraced a new chapter, moving to Waretown, NJ, where they enjoyed the tranquility and community spirit of their surroundings. In her leisure time, Jana loved going to Broadway shows, crafting, and spending time with her family, always with a fresh pot of coffee ready for visitors.

Jana Knox's light will continue to shine through the lives of those she inspired and loved.

In remembering Jana, we celebrate her life with gratitude, knowing her spirit and the stories she imparted will continue to echo in the lives she shaped.

A Memorial Gathering will be held for family and close friends on Friday, February 28, 2024 from 1 to 4 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ. (www.Barnegat FH.com)
