James C. DeFazio

James C. DeFazio, 75, of Manahawkin, NJ passed on Sunday, June 30, 2024. Born in Staten Island, NY to his late parents, James and Amelia DeFazio, he was formerly of Staten Island and a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War where he served with the Military Police. James retired from the United Parcel Service before retiring to Manahawkin. He was a member of the American Legion Post 232 in Barnegat.  

Predeceased by his two sons, Jason DeFazio and Michael DeFazio and two brothers, David DeFazio and Robert DeFazio, he is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Rose; eight cherished grandchildren, Alexis, Ariana, Destiny, Jaden, Zoey, Gianna, AJ and Chris; one great-grandson, Mason James; daughter-in-law, Michele Pizzo; three brothers-in-law, Jack (Cathi), Bob (Anna), and Anthony Paccione (Anna).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 1 to 4 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Private Cremation to follow.
