James E. Barrett

James E. Barrett, 89, of Barnegat passed on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.. Born in Jersey City to his late parents,James and Maria Barrett, he is a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia J. (Smith) Barrett; his two sons, James C. and Robert M. Barrett. Surviving are his three loving children, Karen and husband Stanley Proskurnia, Maureen and husband Salvatore Martino, Thomas Barrett; five cherished grandchildren and eight cherished great grandchildren.

Viewing Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat.

Mass offered Friday, 9:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington, NJ.
