Irene J. Roberts

Irene J. Roberts, 85, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Saturday, August 23, 2025 peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Newark, NJ to her late parents, John and Mary Haines, Irene had a huge heart and was easy to love. She had an amazing sense of humor and family meant everything to her. She looked so forward to family and friends' gatherings and celebrations throughout the years.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Harry; two loving children, Steven and his wife, Dawn Roberts and Patricia and her husband, Trenton Lee; eight cherished grandchildren, Marisa, David, Jessica, Bryce, Ryan, Krystina, Mark and Matthew; two devoted sisters, Mary and her husband, Tony Pontrelli and Diane and her husband, Danny Lamberti; loving brother, Danny and his wife, Roe Haines; as well as many loving nieces and nephews, relatives and more friends than can be counted. She is predeceased by her two sons, John Roberts and Mark Roberts and her sister, Carol Gallagher.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 12 to 2 PM with a Blessing at 2:00 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Private Cremation to follow. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
