Helen M. Kochick

Helen M. Kochick, 90, of Manahawkin, NJ passed peacefully on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at home. She was raised in Carthage, NY by her late parents, Carl and Anna Zebney, and worked as a registered nurse in the health care system for 50 years. Helen resided in Hopelawn, NJ before retiring to Manahawkin, NJ in 1998.

She was a fishing and hunting enthusiast with a knack for reeling in the biggest fish. Helen was fortunate to have traveled to many countries, but especially enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City.

A devout Catholic, she attended daily Mass for over 30 years and was a communicant of St. Mary of The Pines Church in Manahawkin, NJ.

Surviving is her beloved husband of 69 years, Thomas; three loving daughters, Lynn Kochick, Gwen Drake, and husband, Glen and Jean Kochick; three cherished granddaughters, Jillian, Natalie and Jessica and three great-grandchildren, Aria, Emily and Devin. She is predeceased by her son, Thomas Kochick.

Viewing will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Mass offered Saturday, 11:00 AM at St. Mary Of The Pines Church, Manahawkin. Entombment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
