Gregory B. Madus

Gregory B. Madus, 58, passed on December 5, 2024, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he was a beacon of strength to all who knew him.

Professionally, Greg dedicated over twenty years to the casino business in several states, with his most recent role as a Supervisor at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL.

Beyond his professional life, Greg loved the outdoors and found enjoyment in fishing and hunting. His love for sports was unrivaled. Whether it was cheering on his favorite teams or sharing his knowledge of the games, his passion of baseball and football was evident to all.

He was a kind and generous man who will be profoundly missed by his family and friends but his spirit will live on in the lives he touched.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Marilyn Madus; loving brother, Thomas Madus; cherished niece, Samantha Madus; as well as loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his father, Bernard Madus.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 4 to 7 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Funeral Service to be held Wednesday, 10:00 AM at Barnegat Funeral Home. Entombment to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin, NJ.
