Obituary
Frank Candito, 79, of Barnegat, NJ, passed on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, NJ. Born in Jersey City, NJ to his late parents, Dominick and Rose Candito, he is a United States Navy Veteran and a former Chaplain of VFW Post 10092, as well as a member of the American Legion Post 232. An avid John Wayne fan, Frank became friendly with his family and frequently wrote for the John Wayne Newsletter.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 57 years, Elsie; loving daughter, Gina, and husband, Brian Seguine; six cherished grandchildren, Aiden, Brian Jr., Aaron, Dominick, Olivia and Matthew; great-granddaughter, Lylah and his Brother, John Candito. He is predeceased by his son, Frank Candito.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 9:30-11:30 AM, followed by Military Honors at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ. Interment to follow in Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
