Frances Saparata was born on May 15th, 1942, in Brooklyn, New York. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and twin sister on July 9th, 2024. She was most known for her nurturing and loving nature and jovial laugh. She came from a large Italian family. Her oldest brother Anthony, older sisters Rosalie and Joanie predeceased her. She is survived by her sister Josephine and sister and brother in law Nancy and Pete. She married the love of her life Edward in 1961 and was married for 62 years. They had a beautiful family, and their children meant the world to them.
She is survived by her daughter Doreen DeStefano and her husband Sal, her son Richard, and youngest daughter Angela D’Alto and her husband Serg. Frances loved being a mother and grandmother. She treasured her time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She is also survived by her grandchildren Anthony DeStefano and his wife Kim, great grandson Nathaniel, Rachel Marzorati and her husband Nick, great grandson Christopher, Sarah DeStefano, Felicia Rehfeldt, Julianna and Allison D’Alto. She is survived by many nieces and nephews who always held a special place in her heart. She moved from New York to North Jersey, retired to South Jersey, and spent her final years in Maryland living at Broad Creek Manor. She will be most missed for her epic parties and holidays, quick wit, and endless love for her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ 08005. Mass offered Tuesday, 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Entombment to follow in Ocean County Memorial Park, Waretown.
