Eugene G. Buckholtz

Eugene G. Buckholtz, 101, passed on Thursday, June 9, 2022 peacefully at home. Born in Elizabeth, NJ to his late parents, Edward and Charlotte Buckholtz, he was formerly of Elizabeth, where he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary (Moran), he is survived by his loving children, Nancy, and husband, Frank Fiamingo, Marguerite Gatto, John, and wife, Eydie Buckholtz, Eugene, and wife, Patricia Buckholtz, and James, and wife, Lynn Buckholtz; fourteen cherished grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Adeline Blessing and Charlotte Nicholas. He was predeceased by his brother, John Buckholtz.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 2-5 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ 08005. Entombment, with Military Honors will be Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 11:30 AM in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
