Enza Casano

Vincenza Balzamo Casano, 84, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. Born May 8, 1941 in Naples, Italy to her late parents, Pasquale and Vittoria Balzamo, she came to America with family 1954.

She married Stephen Anthony Casano in 1959 and together they had two children, Susanne Casano in 1961 and Steven Casano in 1967. They moved their family to Sayreville, NJ in 1971. 

Enza had a career working for Workers Compensation of NJ as a Administrative Secretary beginning in 1977. She was also involved in the Italian American Club organized events as well as community volunteer.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Stephen and two brothers, Joseph Balzamo and Peter Balzamo, she is survived by her two loving children, Susanne Casano and Steven Casano (Kathleen) three cherished grandchildren, Erin Franklin Cordero, Samantha Casano and Ryan Casano; her brother, Mario Balzamo. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 1 to 5 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Mass offered Monday, 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat, NJ.  Entombment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
