Edward T. Buckley

Edward T. Buckley, 69, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Born in Amityville, NY to his late parents, George and Eva Buckley, he has been a resident of Barnegat for most of his life. He was a devoted community member and exempt firefighter who dedicated 51 years serving with the Barnegat Fire Company.
Edward had a passion for sports and was an enthusiastic fan of both the New York Jets and the Philadelphia 76ers. His prized possession was his little red Corvette.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Milena; two loving step-children, Daniel Joseph Rooney, IV and fiancé, Alea Horrocks and Milena Rooney Jester and husband, Adam Jester; two cherished grandchildren, Daniel Joseph Rooney, V and Milena Jester; sisters, Anna Buckley, Marylou Peterkin and husband, Chris and Helene Adolphus; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 1 to 4 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Blessing Monday, 10:00 AM at Barnegat Funeral Home followed by Interment in Barnegat Memorial Cemetery.
