Edith M. Chandler

Edith M. Chandler, 81, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Sunday, March 23, 2025. Born in Bronx, NY, to her late parents, Edward and Alice Thoman, she formerly resided in Howell and Manalapan, NJ and was employed as a Nurse at Centra State Hospital in Freehold, NJ.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward and her daughter, Kelly McLaughlin, she is survived by her ; three loving children, June and husband, Frank Apellaniz, Edward Chandler, Jr., and  Keith and wife, Stacey Chandler; devoted son-in-law, John McLaughlin; ten cherished grandchildren, Lisa, Danielle, Edward, Skyler, Kristen, Steven, Samantha, Meghan, Jack and Nicole; five cherished great grandchildren, Ryan, Kayleigh, Luke, Poppy Grace and Leo.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 3 to 6 PM at the Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Mass will be offered 11:00 AM on Friday at St. Mary’s Church, 747 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. NJ. Private Cremation to follow. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
