Doris E. Deane

Being strong in her Catholic faith, Doris “Jane” Deane, 85, passed away peacefully with the Lord by her side on the morning of July 11, 2025. 

Jane was born on May 15, 1940 to Garland and Della Fore, in Wellman, Texas and relocated to Kingsburg, California as a child. After graduating high school in 1958, she met and married the love of her life of 58 years, Robert “Bob” Deane. Jane and Bob had three children, Scott, Lance and Lisa. 

The family business moved them to La Mesa, California where Jane was a homemaker and raised her 3 children. Later in life she settled in Phoenix, Arizona where she and Bob owned a printing business. With Jane’s ever growing family spread over many different states, she was always on the move visiting her loved ones. She enjoyed China painting, knitting, golfing, cooking, shopping, and spending time with friends and family. 

Jane was predeceased by her husband, Robert Deane, her parents, Garland and Della Fore, her brothers, Dale Fore, Dan (Deanna) Fore, and sister Dorothy (Fred) Spomer. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition, one grandchild, Michelle Deane, one great-grandchild, Jason Deane, son in law James Tilton Sr. and two sister in laws Mary Margaret Deane and Nancy Deane. Jane is survived by her three children Scott (Ronda) Deane, Lance Deane and Lisa Tilton, along with 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sister in law Muriel Fore, brother in law Armond (Sue) Deane and many nieces and nephews. 

A Memorial Mass will be offered at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 747 W Bay Ave, Barnegat, New Jersey 08005, Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
