Donna Marie Brown

Donna Marie Brown, 61 of Barnegat, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her home on July 9, 2025.

She is survived by her devoted husband James Brown, and her children Jennifer Diehl and her husband Chris, and her son James Brown III, and his wife Jocelyn. She is also survived by her mother Joan Mullener, her cherished grandchildren Zachary and Maxwell Diehl, Madeline Brown, and her siblings Debbie, Laura, and Leonard. She also leaves behind her beloved brother in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Donna was employed at Stafford Township School District for 25 years as a Paraprofessional working in Special Education, which she loved deeply. She was passionate about raising her children to be loving and caring. Through her guidance and love they are successful and happy. She dedicated her entire remaining life to her grandchildren who she loved dearly. She deeply loved and cherished her dogs (“her boys”) Keegan and Reilly. Donna was also a member of the Barnegat American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 232. She enjoyed traveling all over the world and making memories with family and friends.

Her viewing will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Blessing at 7:30 pm at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue in Barnegat, New Jersey. Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 10:00 am at Saint Mary’s Church in Barnegat, New Jersey. Interment (burial) will be held at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, New Jersey following the mass. All family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life for Donna at 2:00 pm after the interment at the Barnegat American Legion Post 232 located at 499 N. Main Street in Barnegat, New Jersey.
