Donna M. Stasse

Donna M. Stasse, 72, of Bayville peacefully passed on Friday May 9, 2025 surrounded by her loving family & “adopted family” at her bedside. Born in Jersey City, relocated with her family to Sayreville where she later met her husband. Together they brought their young family to Forked River raising their two children at “the Shore” where Donna dedicated her life to family & friends (many of whom became the “adopted family”.

Known for her larger than life personality with the biggest heart, upfront & straight spoken but, if you made it beyond that she would tell you, “The first time you come to my house you are company & after that you’re a habit, come through the back door, take your shoes off & don’t expect me to wait on you.” Donna was devoted to her family & cherished every moment spent together… with a true fighting spirit she stood strong for her family over the past four years after suffering a Stroke.
She is predeceased by her parents Thomas & Esther Carrano, her “Baby Brother” Tommy, as well as her son Duane Stasse. Surviving is her husband of 50 years William, beloved daughter Nicole Morici & her husband John Paul, three cherished granddaughters Ava & Aubree Morici and Brianna Stasse, daughter in law Donna Cinque Stasse, brother Patrick Carrano & his wife Marie, brother Joseph Carrano & his wife Ruth, and several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held om Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 4 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Private Cremation to follow. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
