Donna L. Amato

Donna L. Amato (Kiwior), 65, of Waretown, NJ passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024.  Born in Perth Amboy, NJ residing in North Plainfield for most of her life until moving to Waretown.

She was the wife of the late Michael A. Amato who passed away in 2012.  Donna was employed as an administrative assistant for Muhlenberg Hospital until she retired.  She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 232 Barnegat and the Holiday Beach Club in Waretown.

She is survived by her sister Susan Docherty and her brother Theodore Kiwior as well as her goddaughter and niece Sandy D’Alessandro (David), nieces Kelly Jurgensen (John), and Christy DeStefano (Nick) and many other nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.   Also surviving is her brother-in-law John Amato and her step-children Jeffrey, Virginia, Laurie, Jennifer, and their beloved families.  She is also preceded in death by her parents, sisters Lorraine, Barbara, and her brother Thomas.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
