Donald S. Jones

Donald S. Jones, 64, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Born and raised California to his late parents, Robert and Kathleen Jones, he had a love for BMX bicycles growing up. After gaining a high level of proficiency, he toured with racing teams and was featured in many issues of BMX magazines; earning him the nickname, “Building Leaping Jones.” Donald relocated to New Jersey 20 years ago where he raised his own family and enjoyed working together in the family business and pursued his love for woodworking.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Cara; three loving children, Hannah, Elizabeth and Jake; three cherished grandchildren, Siena, Olivia and Xavier; three devoted brothers, Bob, Larry and Steve as well as many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his four siblings, Tom, Patty, Dana and Little Brother Rick.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, July 25 from 1 to 3:30 PM with a Time For Sharing at 3:30 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
