Donald J. Auletto

Donald Auletto,88,of Barnegat, NJ, passed away on April,27,2022 peacefully at home. Born in Weehawken, NJ to Joseph and Grace (nee Lapadula) Auletto. Donald was born on August 11th,1933. Donald graduated from Weehawken High school in 1952. In 1998, he was inducted into Weehawken’s Athletic Hall of Fame for his passion for Baseball. He was also a dedicated Yankees Fan for over 65 plus years. After Graduation, Donald worked as a truck driver for Red Star out of Newark, NJ for 40 years. In 1970, He met  Marbeth (nee Hanford) Auletto. Married in 1971 and has 2 children David and Melissa After retiring in 1995 to be a full time Grandpa, Donald spent the next 26 years loving and taking care of his 3 grandchildren Amanda, Samantha and Brandon Jr. 

Donald is predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Marbeth Auletto. The oldest brother to Sister, Carol (nee Auletto) Ferrante, Brothers, Louis and Lenny. Adoring Father to daughter, Melissa and Son in law Brandon Sr. Son, David and Daughter in Law, Jaimie. 3 Grandchildren,  Amanda,Samantha and Brandon Jr. Donald leaves behind many loving nieces,nephews and friends.

Viewing will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2022 from 2-5 PM with a Blessing to begin at 4:30 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ, Private Cremation to follow. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
