Dave Gomez, Jr.

Dave Gomez Jr., lovingly known as “Davey,” “Junior,” or “Little Davey,” passed away on September 15, at the age of 36 in a tragic accident in Barnegat, NJt.

He is survived by his father, Dave Gomez Sr.; his mother, Erin Callahan; his sister, Gianna Callahan Gomez; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Davey was a gifted athlete and an unforgettable teammate, remembered for his grand slam at Barnegat High School and for his Golden Gloves boxing journey. He carried a deep love for Puerto Rico, cherished time with his family, and enjoyed working with his hands on cars, motorcycles, and quads.

Above all, Davey will be remembered for his unconditional love. If you loved him, he felt it — and he loved you right back, even more.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025  from 1 to 3:30 PM with a Blessing and Time for Sharing to begin at 3:30 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
