Daniel Ryner Obituary

Daniel Abraham Ryner better known as “Wonford” was born on November 27, 1944 in Salem District, Montserrat.  He was born to the late Peter and Sarah Ryner.  He was one of six children; his siblings were the late Peter Ryner, John Ryner, Samuel Ryner, Catherine Ryner and Theodore Ryner.

He earned a degree in Theology. He loved the Lord and shared his passion and convictions with his family, friends and almost anyone he came into contact with. He believed in the power of prayer and exercised this discipline without apology. He was truly a force to be reckoned with.

He was an entrepreneur and engaged in multiple, successful business ventures.  He believed that education was the ultimate component of success and instilled a vigorous work ethic amongst his children.  Failure was never to be a thought nor an option.

Daniel Ryner was married to Joan Ryner. His fruit of love were his children Marilyn Powell, Mencea James Ryner, Yoland Randolph and Yoethesa Odesola.  His grandchildren Aisha Powell, the late Akiah Powell, Satina Haij, the late Mencea Ryner, Mecca Scarborough & Sademi Odesola.

In-Laws are Hillary Powell, Staveley Odesola, and Michael Randolph. Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and a host of family and friends too many to name. The family expresses our sincere appreciation and gratitude for your support and prayers.

Daniel Ryner was a great model of perseverance, tenacity and success; his legacy lives through us all.
