Charles A. Danko

Charles A. Danko, 77, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Saturday, October 14, 2023. Born in Bayonne, NJ to his late parents, Andrew and Agnes Danko, he formerly resided in Brick, NJ. He graduated from St. Peters College in Jersey City and worked in the Technology industry as a Supervisor for ITT, Inc. A resident of Barnegat for 15 years and member of the Manahawkin Elks Lodge 2340, he also enjoyed working part time for Lester Glenn as a driver in his retirement.

Charles was quite the conversationalist and easily made friends everywhere he went. He loved dining out, driving and traveling; along the way photographing 18 wheeler trucks of which he acquired an extensive collection of photos. The apple of his eye were his four grandsons.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 55 years, Carol; two loving children and their spouses, Noelle and John Evans, David and Jeni Danko; cherished grandsons, Zachary and Matthew Evans, Lukas and Logan Danko; devoted sister, Kathleen and her husband, Charles Doney.

Visitation Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 3 to 7 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Mass will be offered 12:30 PM on Friday at St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat. Private cremation to follow. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
