Cecilia Compolongo

Cecilia Compolongo, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2026. Born on May 5, 1942, She left behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family. Cecilia was the heart of her home and the foundation of her family.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Anthony Compolongo, who was her partner in all of life’s adventures.

Her memory will be cherished by her three daughters: Kathy Morrison Nelms; Lisa Medvitz and her husband, Mark; and Linda Jamison and her husband, David. She was a source of constant support and wisdom to them, teaching by example the importance of family and kindness.

Cecilia’s joy was perhaps greatest when spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by John, Amanda, Angela, Olivia, Melissa, Zachary, Mark, and Matthew. Her legacy continues through them and her five precious great-grandchildren, who were the lights of her life in her later years.

Cecilia was known for her gentle spirit and unwavering faith. Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit lives on in the stories told and the love shared by those who knew her best.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ.
