Obituary
Catherine T. DeSteno, 96, of Toms River, NJ passed on Monday, March 6, 2023. Born in Hoboken, NJ to her late parents, Charles and Mary Monto, she is one of eight children and formerly of Carteret, NJ where she raised her family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony and her daughter-in-law, Nancy; she is survived by her two loving children, Thomas DeSteno, and his wife, Rosa and Donald (the late Nancy); three cherished grandchildren, Jonathan, Jessica and Cheryl; seven great-grandchildren, Hayden, Anthony, Harper, Ian, Sophia, Nathan and Samantha; her brother, Robert Monto.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 from 10:00AM-12:00PM with a Blessing at 12:00 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
