Carl M. Kaczmarski

Carl Kaczmarski, died unexpectedly on January 18,2023 at his residence. He was 79 years old. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. 

Carl is survived and missed by his loving wife Carol of 58 years, his children Carl, Richard, and Linda, his son in-law Dave, and his daughter in-law Kelley. Forever cherished and remembered by his eight grandchildren, Sarah, David, Katie, Jack, Alyssa, Carl, Leo, and Max. Carl was predeceased by his father Bernard, mother Mary, and his brother Bernie.

Carl was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ. He lived at the Jersey Shore for over 55 years spending time in Toms River, Forked River and most recently in Barnegat. 

Carl enjoyed spending time boating and fishing in the Barnegat Bay.  Having a fondness for the water, trips to the Barnegat Lighthouse and Berkeley Island with his wife were things that always brought him joy.  North Topsail Beach, NC, was a home away from home for nearly 30 years where he enjoyed word puzzles on the beach, playing cornhole and most all, spending time with such a great group of friends. 

In addition, Carl was an avid bowler, who looked forward to a great game every Wednesday and giving a good reason why bowling wasn’t so great on Thursday.  Carl always appreciated a good laugh, negotiating for better deals, oreos, glazed doughnuts, and a well-done hamburger.

Carl will be remembered by his family and friends as a very devout Catholic family man who was kind and patient.  

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 2-5 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ. Funeral Mass offered Monday, 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
