It is with a heavy heart, that we announce the passing or our father – Bruce Alan Fulda – a man defined by hard work, fierce loyalty and a stead-fast devotion to his family and those that he loved. He was strong-willed, tough and some would say “an acquired taste”; but he always strived to do the right thing and set the right example. If you were in need or just needed a helping hand; he was always there, without hesitation or reservation. He worked with unwavering devotion and wouldn’t quit until the job or task at hand was completed to his satisfaction. His hands built our lives, his effort supported us and his overall presence gave us continued strength. He never cared for praise or attention; rather he shied away from it – he just wanted take care of his own and be surrounded by those people that mattered most to hm.
He served with honor and distinction, both as a member of the United States Navy, serving in the Vietnam Conflict, and as a Police Officer with the Kearny Police Department – retiring as a Captain in 1999.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Debbie; his two sons, James and Chris; and his (6) grandchildren – all of whom were blessed to be shaped by his example and all who will miss him deeply.
