Bernice P. Kalakowski

Bernice P. Kalakowski, 96, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Monday, November 10, 2025 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hoboken, NJ too her late parents, John and Delia Mitchell, she formerly resided in Middletown and Jersey City, NJ.

Predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Francis, she is survived by her three loving children, Donna and husband Thomas Weber, Mark and wife Carlene Kalakowski, Neil Kalakowski; devoted sister, Sally Heinzmann; countless in-laws, nieces and nephews as well as many friends whom she cared for as family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 4 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Mass offered Saturday, 9:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat, NJ.  Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin, NJ.
