Barbara M. Simonovich

Barbara M. (Klemm) Simonovich, of Forked River, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 5th. Barbara was born in Jersey City, to Robert Klemm and Constance Mango on February 15, 1941. 

Barbara enjoyed traveling throughout her life, most recently her winters in Florida, visiting the theme parks with her grandson and her trips to Mexico with family.

She was a devoted wife to her loving husband, Thomas, for 49 years until his passing in 2011.

Barbara was a proud mother and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Steven and his wife, Lori and her son, Michael and her grandchildren, Dr. Sandrina Simonovich DVM, Dante Simonovich and Samantha and Nicholas Slotnick .

Barbara's family would like to thank Yvonne Sauer her caretaker and friend for her years of care.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 2 to 5 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Mass offered Monday, May 11, 2026, 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Entombment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin.
