Anthony F. Terrano

Anthony Terrano Sr., 93 of Whiting, New Jersey passed away on April 28, 2020 at Arbors Nursing Home in Toms River, New Jersey.  Anthony was in the thoughts and prayers of his loving family at the time of his passing. Born on Wednesday, July 13, 1927 in New York, New York, Anthony was the husband of the late Helen Terrano, son of the late Salvatore and Pasqua Terrano, and the brother of the late Joseph Terrano, John P. Terrano, Mary Terrano, and Rosario Terrano. Anthony lived in Staten Island for 10 years before moving to Whiting, New Jersey in 2007. Anthony worked in the Maintenance Department for the New York Life Insurance Company for over 20 years before retiring in 1985.  During his retirement, Anthony enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows, spending time with his loving family as well as taking trips to Atlantic City with his wife Helen. Surviving are his children Anthony Terrano Jr., Theresa Dioguardi-Terrano, Kenneth Terrano, and siblings Geraldine Terrano and Salvatore Terrano.  Also surviving are his grandchildren Thomas Dioguardi, Kristi Dioguardi, Matthew Alexander Terrano, and his daughter in-law Joanne Terrano.

Viewing will be Saturday, May 2, 2020 from 1-3 PM with a Blessing at 2PM , at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Limitations on the number of family members allowed in the building at one time, as mandated by the Governor, must be adhered to. Our staff will be there to assist in any way possible.
