Anna M. Cicchetti

Anna M. Cicchetti (Calandrillo), 89, of Barnegat, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Born in Jersey City, Anna married the love of her life at just 19 years old, beginning a lifelong journey as a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lived a full and joyful life, always finding happiness in the simple moments—cooking for those she loved, going to Atlantic City, watching her favorite Hallmark movies, and most of all, being surrounded by her family.

Formerly of North Bergen, Ridgefield Park, and Vernon, Anna made Barnegat her home 35 years ago. She was the heart of her family, known for her unconditional love, strong faith, warm sense of humor, and the comfort she brought to everyone around her. Her home was always a place where people felt welcomed, cared for, and cherished.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Cicchetti; her son, Robert J. Cicchetti; her sister, Lenore Ferrazano (Calandrillo); and her brother, John Calandrillo.

She is lovingly survived by her daughter, Joanne McKnight; her granddaughter and her husband, Kayla and Matthew DuVall; her precious great-grandchildren, Brady Robert and Daphne Evelyn, who brought her endless joy; her dear brother, Anthony Calandrillo; and many nieces, nephews, and close friends who she considered part of her family.

Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Church, 747 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM followed by Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
