Andrew Vaccaro Obituary

Andrew J. Vaccaro, 92, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Born in Paterson, NJ to his late parents, Andrew and Anna Vaccaro, he grew up in Paterson, where he was an Altar server. Having spent one summer in a Seminary, Andrew even contemplated becoming a Priest; guiding the way to the very kind, loving man, who loved animals, he was known for. A Veteran of the Korean War, he was a United States Air Force Veteran. Andrew and his wife lived in Pompton Plains, NJ before residing in Barnegat for the past 10 years. He also loved photography and traveling; especially to Europe. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Florence; brother-in-law, Anthony Scrafano (Tina) sister-in-law, Dorothy Bott, many loving nieces and nephews, beloved friend, Jacqueline Richter. Predeceased by his brother Richard Vaccaro.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 4 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Mass offered Wednesday, 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
