Allen A. Englund

Allen A. Englund, 82, of Waretown, NJ passed on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY to his late parents, Adolf and Anna Englund, his family moved to Dumont, NJ. He and his beloved wife of 57 years, Carol (Barbera) Englund raised their family in Highland Mills, NY while Allen worked for the Equitable Life Insurance Company in Manhattan before relocating to Waretown, NJ over 20 years ago. The "outdoorsman", he loved hunting, fishing and travelling to new places. When home, he enjoyed being with family and watching sports.

Surviving are his wife, Carol; two loving children, Eric and his wife Julia Englund, Karen Englund; two cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth and William Englund; his brother, Albert and wife Barbara Englund; sister-in-law, Barbara and husband Albert Erb as well as his loving nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 11 AM to 12:30 PM with a Memorial Service to follow 12:30 PM at the Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ.
