Alice D. Pilovsky nee; Flaherty (80) of Barnegat passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 7th at Genesis Nursing & Rehab in Manahawkin. Ally, as her friends called her, was born February 25th 1944 to the late Michael & Florence Flaherty. She lived in Bayonne before moving to Barnegat in 1977. She was a Parishioner of St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat where she enjoyed volunteering at the Nights of Summer Carnival. She was employed as a book keeper for Castle Woodcraft in Pine Beach NJ for many years before retiring.
Alice is predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Pilovsky, and her siblings Bill, Edna and Edward. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Pilovsky & wife Sara of Manahawkin, Robert Pilovsky of Barnegat and her grandson Joey Pilovsky of Manahawkin, a nephew Patrick Calabrese and wife Amy of Arlington Texas as well as her many sister in-laws, brother in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 2 to 4 PM with a Blessing to follow at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary’s Parish Center Barnegat in her memory.
