Alexander Oros, Jr.

 Alexander Oros Jr., 77, of Barnegat Light, New Jersey passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his family, on February 13, 2020. He worked as the Construction Official for the Borough of Barnegat Light, New Jersey for 20 years. He also represented Barnegat Light for the Ocean County Office of Emergency Management. He served two elected terms of office as the Barnegat Light representative for the Ocean County Republican Party. "Big Al" is survived by his wife of 55 years Betty Lee (Cooper); daughter Lee-Anne of Barnegat Light, son Alex and his wife Helen of Cranford and Barnegat Light; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Shannon. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to many.
