Alan F. Hetzel

Alan F. Hetzel, 64, of Barnegat, NJ, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, NJ.  Born in Englewood, NJ to his late parents, Herman and Frances Hetzel, he lived for the past 20 years in Barnegat with his loving wife, Mary and faithful dog, Coco.  Alan was looking forward to relocating to Delaware & spending time with his family in retirement.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Mary; two children, Alan C. (LeeAnn) and Josh; two step-children, Joseph Fabiano (Kristen) and Christina Fabiano; seven grandchildren, Gene, Ryan, Isabella, Lily, Joey, Ashlyn and Brayden; sister, Ellen Nolan (Tom); brothers, Andy Hetzel (Bobbie) and Bruce Hetzel and many other family members who loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his brother, Brian. Alan was a dedicated husband and grandfather that has left many memories that will live in our hearts forever until we meet again.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 4-6 PM with a Blessing to follow at 6 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
