Adam Thomas Jastrzebski, 51, of Barnegat, NJ passed away unexpectedly at home the morning of February 26th, 2026.
Born December 5th, 1974, Adam was the first of 2 sons to his parents Thomas and Dorothy Jastrzebski of Cliffside Park, NJ. Adam was born and raised in Barnegat Township, NJ alongside his younger brother John. Attending Barnegat Elementary School and Southern Regional High School, Adam had managed to befriend many throughout his short time here on Earth where he was often referred to as the "Unofficial Town Mayor" by many.
Known as "Adam J" as a young boy, later known as "Jazz" in his teen years and finally as "Coach Adam" in his most recent life, Adam had a passion for sports. Growing up playing soccer, basketball and baseball, his love of these sports continued to show during his extensive time volunteering as a coach for many of our local youth programs while raising his 3 very talented and loved children.
Adam was a family man. In 2004 he married the love of his life, Casey (Sciarrillo) Jastrzebski of Waretown, NJ. Together, Adam and Casey raised their two daughters & son, whom he loved with all his heart.
As the main provider for his family, for many years Adam worked tirelessly and effortlessly for his family. Known as “AJ” at work, Adam served as an Enterprise Sales Executive and was an integral part of the DAS Health team where he developed many lifelong friendships with his coworkers. Between his earlier years with ITelagen, and recently DAS Health, “AJ” had been with the organization since 2010 and was well known for his many achievements throughout the years.
Always quick with a joke, his smile was infectious and his heart was brighter than the sun. He was an open door to anyone who needed a hug, a listening ear or a place to simply lay one’s head in comfort. Adam showed us all true unconditional love. He taught us to stand tall with presence, take no nonsense and be true to your heart.
Adam was a caring son, a role model of a brother, a hard working and dedicated husband, a loving father, uncle and a truly one-of-a-kind friend.
Adam is survived by his father Thomas Jastrzebski, mother Dorothy (Lang) Jastrzebski, brother John Jastrzebski, wife Casey (Sciarrillo) Jastrzebski, daughters Sadie Sciarrillo and Avery Jastrzebski, son Grayson Jastrzebski, sister-in-law Corey Sciarrillo, niece Kaia Jastrzebski and niece Zoey Jastrzebski. Adam also leaves behind his loving dog Piper.
In lieu of flowers, a GoFundMe “Honoring Adam Jastrzebski’s Legacy” memorial fund has been set up in his name to support the future of his young children.
