William V. Poshefko, 94 of Barnegat, NJ passed on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Born in Pennsylvania, he proudly and honorably served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a demolition expert in the European Campaign. Following his military service, he obtained his CPA and was employed by Cooper Industries as an account executive. He retired in the early 1980’s and relocated from Maplewood to Pheasant Run in Barnegat where he was an active member of the community, frequently enjoying daily trips to Atlantic City with his Sisters and other residents. William will be dearly missed by his loving Sister Rose Kosch and also leaves behind a host of adoring nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews. William was predeceased by his sisters, Helen, Mary and Agnes Poshefko, along with his brothers, Joseph, Francis, John and George. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Mass of Christian Burial to follow 11 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Barnegat. Interment in St. Mary’s Cem., Manahawkin. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
