Warren Lawrence Obituary

Warren Daniel Lawrence crossed to Heaven at home on St. Patrick’s Day. He was born in Brooklyn, New York to Mildred Taylor and Joseph Lawrence. He is preceded by them and his brother Curtis.  He is survived by his beloved wife Rosemary Evers. He was a father to Christine, Brian and Kenneth Lawrence, grandfather to Zachery and Alexander Lawrence and step father to David and Laura Martin.  He worked for 32 years as a Criminal Investigator for the State of New Jersey. He worked twenty-four years in Newark, 5 years in Juvenile and 19 years in the Adult section.  He worked eight years in the Paterson Adult division. He is an Army Veteran. He served in Italy during the beginning of the Vietnam War. After his service he attended Rutgers Newark on the GI Bill. He had a life well lived and before the Army set him on his life’s path, he worked at Radio City Music Hall as an usher during High School. He worked on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange as a runner and worked undercover for Pinkertons.  He loved gardening and Bagpipe music. He was a Bagpiper for the Sons of the Shillelagh, Livingston New Jersey. His infectious laughter will be missed every day.

Memorial Mass Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 11 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat, NJ.
