Vito M. Occhipinti

Vito M. Occhipinti, 78, of Manahawkin passed Friday, February 2, 2018. Born in Newak, NJ to his late parents, Filippo and Anna Occhipinti, he is loved and respected always for his deep devotion to his family. From early childhood Vito developed a strong work ethic, determined to provide for the well being of his family, starting with his parents and later his own wife and children whom he lived for. He formerly resided in Old Bridge before moving to Manahawkin.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 56 years, Barbara Occhipinti; Four loving children, Dina and husband Paul Pscolka, Philip and  wife Margaret Occhipinti, Michael Occhipinti, Cheryl and husband Chris McMahon; five cherished grandchildren, Luciano, Kalamarie, Amber, Savannah and Michael; one adored great granddaughter, Kailyn; three  sisters, Joanne Occhipinti, Mary Occhipinti and Tana Davidyock .

Viewing Monday, February 5th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Mass offered Tuesday 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Entombment to follow in Ocean County Memorial Park, Waretown, NJ. Donations may be made in Vito's name to The Parkinsons Foundation.
